Quinta Studio color 3D decal interior for the Me 262A in 1:48 scale replaces flat instrument panel decals with three-dimensional, pre-colored cockpit elements. It is an accessory, not the model itself. The elements are cut for the Tamiya kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The product is an aftermarket accessory, not an aircraft kit. It contains three-dimensionally printed and color-finished cockpit elements on a decal backing. The instrument panel, the side consoles and other details have genuine relief, so the interior looks three-dimensional without photo-etch and demanding painting. The set is intended for models of the Me 262A jet fighter in 1:48 scale.
The Messerschmitt Me 262 was the first jet fighter in the world to enter service in quantity. The Me 262A version served as a fighter and as a fighter-bomber in the closing stage of the Second World War and became famous for the high speed given by the pair of jet engines under the wings.
Cut out the individual elements, dip them briefly in lukewarm water and slide them onto a degreased surface. Do not soak them for too long. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, because their chemistry attacks the printed resin. At the end the overall appearance can be evened out with matte varnish.
The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
