Twelve tenths of a millimeter across the flats, the largest size of this shape family. A hex with a wide washer for the boldest anchoring on a build.
Responsibility details are not available.
Twelve tenths of a millimeter closes the range of this shape. It is not a gap in the scale nor an oversight, it is simply the ceiling: a head with a wide washer in this version does not go higher. For motorcycle models in 1:12 it is at the same time the size corresponding to roughly a fourteen millimeter joint on the real machine, which covers even the heaviest anchoring found on such a scale model.
Anyone who needs still more has to reach for a differently shaped head. The brand's selection continues above this limit in the simpler versions without a wide washer, up to two millimeters. It is not a one-to-one replacement, because the silhouette of the joint changes, but for large scales and for machinery where the anchoring is to be coarse it is the only available way up.
With the highest size it goes doubly for keeping clear of edges. The washer under the top has the largest circumference of all the sizes offered, and in a shallow recess it will catch on its side before it seats over its whole face. Try laying the part dry and turning it about its axis: if it resists anywhere, level the surface or drop a size. Only then reach for the glue.
