A 3D printed resin detail set, not a model in its own right. It replaces the simplified landing gear bays (wheel bays) of a plastic model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109K-4 fighter in 1:48 scale with faithfully detailed parts with shaded structure and runs. The manufacturer is the Czech brand Eduard from Obrnice near Most, a leading producer of aircraft accessories. The set is designed to fit in place without extensive work.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109K-4 was one of the last and most powerful production versions of the legendary German fighter at the end of the Second World War. It was marked by a powerful engine, aerodynamic refinements and the characteristic bulges on the cowling. The landing gear bays are a clearly visible detail on a model.
Wash the resin 3D parts free of uncured resin residue, separate them from the print supports and sand them lightly if need be, with respiratory protection. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the bays and pick them out with a wash before the underside of the fuselage is closed, while they are at their most accessible.
This is an add-on resin set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
