Eduard 1:48 Mi-17 cargo seatbelts is a photo-etched set of seat belts for the seats in the cargo cabin of a Mi-17 helicopter model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A separate photo-etched set of belts intended, according to the name, for the seats in the cargo compartment of a Mi-17 helicopter model in 1:48 scale. The cargo cabin of the Mi-17 is clearly visible through the side windows and the open door, and plastic seats without belts are noticed at once on a finished model. Photo-etched belts can be bent, folded over the cushion or left hanging freely, so the interior looks lived in even without figures.
It is an add-on, not a kit. The plastic model is sold separately.
The Mi-17 is the export designation of the upgraded line of Mi-8 helicopters, recognizable among other things by the tail rotor moved to the opposite side of the tail boom from the older Mi-8s. The cargo cabin is long, with windows along the sides and folding seats along the walls; depending on the role it carries cargo, passengers, or is cleared out completely. It is precisely the folding seats with their belts that turn an empty cabin into a scene.
Nip the parts out with a sharp scalpel and clean up the remains of the tabs. Bend them over a rounded tool so that a soft irregular sag appears rather than a sharp break: a belt should look like fabric. Glue with super glue applied with a pin, in a really small amount. It pays to fit the belts only after the cabin and the seats are painted; at the end they can be fine-tuned with the slightest toning so that they do not look new when the rest of the interior is worn by service.
The set is an add-on to a model. The plastic model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
