A set of painting (kabuki) masks from the Czech maker Eduard for a plastic model in 1:48 scale. The masks are pre-cut and self-adhesive; they follow the frames of the canopy glazing and, depending on the extent of the set, other areas including the wheels. They serve for quick, clean masking before paint is sprayed. This is an accessory; the aircraft model itself is not included and is obtained separately.
The MiG-15 was a Soviet single-seat jet fighter with a swept wing, one of the most important fighters of the early jet era. The bis version was an improvement with a more powerful engine and became famous for its service in the Korean War.
Transfer the masks onto degreased glazing, press the edges down carefully and cover the remaining areas with masking tape. Apply the paint in thin coats with an airbrush and remove the masks before it has dried completely, so that the edges stay crisp.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model. The model itself, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
