Eduard 1:48 MiG-21 ladder — photo-etched set is a photo-etched detail set for building the access ladder to the cockpit of the MiG-21 fighter model in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched brass set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but a modeling accessory: a set of parts for assembling a faithfully rendered boarding ladder, which on the MiG-21 was hooked onto the fuselage for the pilot to reach the cockpit. The ladder brings a model on a stand or in a diorama scene with a parked machine to life.
The MiG-21 is a Soviet single-engine supersonic fighter with a delta wing, one of the most widely used jet combat aircraft in history. It served with dozens of armies around the world and became a symbol of Cold War fighter aviation. It was built in a whole range of versions, from day interceptors to multirole machines.
Separate the photo-etched brass parts carefully from the fret with a sharp knife, form the bends in a bending tool or with a ruler and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Clean the surfaces before gluing and roughen them lightly for better grip. The ladder can be hooked onto the fuselage so that it looks realistic on a parked model.
This is a photo-etched detail set, not a model. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
