A resin detail set from the Czech manufacturer Black Dog for models of the MiG-21 MF fighter aircraft in 1:48 scale. It holds precisely cast parts of the fuselage spine, the tail section and the engine, with which you replace or complete the simplified elements of the basic kit and reach a substantially higher level of detail.
The MiG-21 MF was among the most widespread versions of the Soviet supersonic second-generation fighter. It stood out for a powerful jet engine and was put into action with dozens of air forces including Czechoslovakia throughout the Cold War.
Wash the parts first to get rid of the remains of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off carefully and sand them back with your airways protected. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend painting the engine section and the tail and bringing them up with a wash before they are closed.
This is an accessory resin set, not a complete model of an aircraft. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
