Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the early Soviet supersonic fighter MiG-21F-13 Fishbed in 1:48 scale from Trumpeter. The model captures the early F-13 version with finely engraved panel lines, a well detailed cockpit and clear canopy parts; photo-etched parts and rubber tires are included as well. Check the exact package contents against the enclosed instructions.
The MiG-21 (NATO reporting name Fishbed) was a Soviet single-engine supersonic fighter with a delta wing, one of the most widespread jet aircraft in history. The F-13 version is one of the earliest production forms – a light, agile day fighter armed with a single cannon and infrared-guided air-to-air missiles of the K-13 type. Thanks to its low weight it is considered the most agile variant of the whole family.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and the photo-etched and clear parts with cyanoacrylate. Paint the cockpit and the instrument panel before you close the fuselage; the canopy can be built open and protected with a mask during spraying. Fit the missiles and the drop tank only after painting. A primer and an airbrush are recommended; natural metal surfaces come out well with metallic paints and the panel lines with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
