This is a set of self-adhesive painting masks from DN Models in 1:48 scale, intended for spraying the commemorative tiger camouflage of the MiG-21MFN from the Caslav air base. The masks are cut from thin masking tape, which follows curved surfaces well and leaves no traces when peeled off. It is not a paint or a kit but an aid for accurate masking when airbrushing.
The MiG-21MFN is the upgraded version of the proven Soviet supersonic fighter, operated by the Czech Air Force. The striking tiger scheme was created as a display finish for the anniversary of the Caslav base and is among the best-known liveries of this type in Czech service.
Apply the masks onto a perfectly dry base shade, press the edges down carefully so that the paint does not bleed under them, and spray in thin coats. Once dry, peel the mask off carefully. If they are removed gently, many of the parts can be used again.
Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
