This is a detailing accessory, not an airplane model. The set contains resin wheels of the main undercarriage and the nose wheel, which replace the plastic parts in the base kit. It is intended for models of the MiG-15 in 1:48 scale and it raises their undercarriage to a collector level.
Cast resin holds a sharper tread on the tire, a cleaner hub and fine details of the rim, which are difficult to carry over into injection-molded plastic. The wheels are usually rendered with a suggestion of load on the tire, so once it is set on its undercarriage the model looks realistically as though it were standing on the ground. The MiG-15 was a Soviet jet fighter of the late 1940s with a swept wing, made famous by its use in the Korean War.
First wash the parts to remove the mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks carefully and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before painting we recommend a primer; the tread and the rim will then stand out after a fine emphasis with a wash.
The set contains resin parts and is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
