This is not a kit of the helicopter but a photo-etched accessory intended for improving the exterior of a model of the Mil Mi-35M attack and transport helicopter in 1:48 scale. The set, made of thin brass sheet, replaces and refines details that cannot be faithfully molded from plastic.
Photo-etched parts typically refine grilles, cooling and extraction panels, various covers, projections and small exterior features of the airframe. Thin metal gives the surfaces a realistic thickness and crisp edges that molded plastic cannot manage, so once assembled the model comes across as finer and more faithful.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard support and shape the folds with a photo-etch bending tool or with tweezers. Use super glue (cyanoacrylate) in a small amount for gluing. Degrease the surfaces before the paint goes on and go over them with a primer coat for good adhesion.
It is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
