A resin detail set from the Eduard Brassin range that replaces the plastic landing gear wheels on a model of the North American Rockwell OV-10 Bronco observation and light attack aircraft (both the OV-10A and the OV-10D versions) in 1:48 scale. The wheels have a realistic weighted tire effect. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for a more faithful landing gear.
The OV-10 Bronco was an American twin-boom turboprop aircraft intended for observation, fire control and light support of ground forces, used among other places in Vietnam. Detailed wheels with a weighted tire flat markedly improve the look of a model standing on the ground.
Wash the parts free of release agent, cut them off the casting blocks and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue. The weighted tire effect comes into its own when the flat is turned correctly toward the ground. Apply a primer before painting, then separate the hub from the rubber part.
This is an add-on set, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
