A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand intended for the plastic kit of the Lockheed P-38 Lightning in 1:48 scale. This is not a model but a turbocharger cover that completes or refines the part on the upper side of the tail booms.
The P-38 Lightning was an American twin-engine fighter of the Second World War with a distinctive twin-boom layout. The engines were force-fed by turbochargers housed in the tail booms, and their covers are clearly visible on the model, so a precise casting raises their fidelity.
Wash the mold release agent off the part, separate the casting block and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The metal areas come alive in steel shades with a light patina.
The plastic kit itself and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
