Masking set P-38F/G Lightning BASIC (1:48, New Ware)

A set of self-adhesive kabuki masks for a model of the twin-boom Lockheed P-38F/G Lightning fighter in 1:48 scale. The BASIC range holds masks for the external glazing of the cockpit and other clear parts, and masks for the wheel hubs. The thin kabuki material follows the shapes well and leaves no adhesive once lifted off. The cut matches the parts of the corresponding plastic model.

Use

• Stick the masks onto clean glazing and press the edges down carefully.
• Spray the glazing first in the interior color, then in the final color of the frames.
• Mask the wheel hubs to stop overspray onto the tires.
• Once the paint is touch-dry, lift the masks off carefully.
