A resin set of replacement late type wheels for a model of the P-39 Airacobra fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane kit but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic wheels from the box with more faithfully worked resin parts with a fine tire tread pattern and a flat where the tire meets the ground.
The P-39 Airacobra was an American fighter of the Second World War with an unusual engine placed behind the pilot and a nose landing gear. The late type of wheel corresponds to the later production batches of the aircraft.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, separate the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); sand with respiratory protection. A mask for painting the tires is usually included, making a clean transition between the hub and the tire easier.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
