A resin set from the Quickboost brand (part of the Aires family, Czech Republic) with accurately cast exhausts for models of the Curtiss P-40B Warhawk fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of an aircraft, but a detail replacement part that replaces the plastic exhausts with a sharper and more faithful release.
Cast exhausts have finely suggested openings and better detail than the plastic version. Once they are clear coated and weathered, they markedly lift the look of the engine section of a model.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and sand them down, and attach them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways when sanding resin. Apply a primer before painting.
The set is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
