Eduard 1:48 P-40E wheels cross tread is a set of 3D-printed resin wheels with a cross tread pattern for a model of the P-40E Warhawk fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an aftermarket detail set, not an aircraft model. The set brings 3D-printed resin main landing gear wheels for the P-40E Warhawk fighter in 1:48 scale, with a faithfully rendered cross tread pattern on the tire. The wheels are usually done with a realistic lightening and a fine texture, which on a model reads more convincingly than the plastic parts from the box.
The Curtiss P-40E Warhawk was an American fighter of the Second World War. Tires with a cross tread pattern were common on machines of the period and are one of the characteristic details of the landing gear. Faithful wheels markedly improve the overall impression of the finished model.
Separate the parts from the print supports, wash them and degrease them. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the tire in a flat rubber shade, set the rims apart with a metallic or colored shade and add a dusty patina if you like. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
