1:48 P-40 and P-38 - pilot's seat (RESArm)

This is a standalone resin accessory, not an airplane model. The set contains a 3D-printed pilot's seat suitable for models of the American Curtiss P-40 and Lockheed P-38 fighters in 1:48 scale.

What it is for

It replaces the simple seat from a plastic kit with a more faithful resin casting with thin walls and fine detail. It is a good fit for an open cockpit, where the seat is clearly visible.

Usage tips

  • Wash the parts free of uncured print resin residue and cut them off the print supports.
  • Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
  • Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
  • Bring out the belts and details with paint and a wash.

Yes, the manufacturer states it as a seat suitable for models of both the P-40 and the P-38 in 1:48 scale.

No, it is the pilot's seat only. The rest of the cockpit and the aircraft model are not included.

With cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); ordinary plastic cement will not hold.
