A resin set of replacement main landing gear wheels from the maker RESArm. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a model of the American North American P-51 Mustang fighter in 1:48 scale. The tires are cast with flattening at the contact patch, which faithfully imitates the load of a standing aircraft; the tread and the hubs are finely reproduced.
The P-51 Mustang was one of the most important American fighters of the Second World War. Thanks to its great range it escorted bombers deep over enemy territory and became a symbol of the Allied air effort.
Wash the mold release agent off the wheels, separate the casting blocks and clean up the contact patch. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Orient the flattening straight downward. Paint the tire and the hub separately; bring out the tread with a wash or by dry-brushing.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
