This set from HGW's Basic Line range combines the two most used accessories for a faithful model of the P-51B Mustang fighter in 1:48 scale: fabric seat belts for the pilot and glazing masks. It is not an aircraft kit but an upgrade set for P-51B Mustang models.
Fabric belts stand out for a realistic sag that neither plastic nor photo-etched belts can imitate; they are assembled with the photo-etched buckles and glued with cyanoacrylate. Stick the masks onto the glazing before spraying and lift them off carefully once the paint has dried. The result is a cleanly bounded canopy frame without the labor of masking with tape.
