This is a resin detail set in 1:48 scale from the Quickboost brand, not a stand-alone model of the airplane. The set replaces the exhaust stubs of the plastic kit with finely cast resin parts with hollow mouths. Once built in and painted it markedly raises the realism of the sides of the fuselage in the engine area.
The Bell P-39 Airacobra was an American single-seat fighter with the untypical layout of the engine behind the pilot and a drive shaft running to the propeller. The P-39N and P-39Q versions were among the later production patterns. The aircraft found use in large numbers with the Soviet Air Force, where it was valued above all at low and medium altitudes.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Paint the mouths of the exhausts in shades of rust and burnt metal and pick them out with a dark wash.
This is a resin accessory for more experienced modelers, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
