Armory 1:48 wheels for the PZL W-3 Sokol helicopter. A resin accessory for a kit, not a helicopter model; the basic kit is bought separately.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin wheel set in 1:48 scale for a model of the Polish PZL W-3 Sokol medium helicopter from Armory. It is an accessory for a kit, not a helicopter model. The casting replaces the wheels from the plastic kit and gives the tread pattern and the shape of the rim more clearly than an injection mold can. On a helicopter standing on the ground the wheels are plainly visible, because the landing gear is not covered and sits at the eye level of whoever is looking at the model. The PZL W-3 Sokol is a Polish twin-engine medium helicopter and became the first helicopter designed entirely in Poland. It first flew at the end of the 1970s and is built in Swidnik. Two turboshaft engines power it, which raised safety as well as performance over its single-engine predecessors. The machine serves in transport, rescue, medical and military roles, and besides the Polish armed forces a number of further operators use it. A whole family of versions grew out of it, from search and rescue machines to armed forms.
It is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The basic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
