An injection-molded plastic kit of the Polish high-wing fighter PZL P.24 in the A and C versions in 1:48 scale from Mirage Hobby. The moldings are done in light gray plastic on several sprues, and the box holds photo-etched parts, acetate instrument panels and plastic parts for a detailed engine. It is focused on the machines of the Turkish Air Force. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The PZL P.24 was an export high-wing fighter derived from the Polish P.11 line, powered by a radial engine. The Turkish Air Force operated dozens of machines of the A, C and G versions from the second half of the 1930s to the beginning of the 1940s in four squadrons. Its gull wings and fixed landing gear were characteristic features.
It is a more detailed kit with photo-etched parts, which more experienced modelers will appreciate. Glue the photo-etched elements with super glue, and finish the engine and the cockpit before closing the fuselage. A base coat of primer and spraying with an airbrush are recommended.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
