It is an aftermarket accessory of armament for models of fighters of Eastern design in 1:48 scale. Launch rails, clear lenses and covers tend to be included. The package does not contain a model of an aircraft.
The R-73 is a Soviet (today Russian) infrared-guided short-range air-to-air missile, famous for a high ability to acquire a target off boresight in combination with a helmet-mounted sight. It is carried by a range of machines, for example the MiG-29, the Su-27 and their later versions, and it is among the standard armament of modern Eastern fighters.
Separate the parts from the print supports, wash them free of residues of uncured print resin and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Fit the clear lenses of the seeker heads at the end; prime the body of the missile with primer and spray it with an airbrush.
The set contains only resin parts of armament. The model of the aircraft, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
