It is not a standalone airplane model but an accessory that completes or replaces the parts from the base kit and raises the accuracy of the aircraft. The casting has crisp detail and an accurate shape.
The Grumman S-2 Tracker was an American twin-engine carrier aircraft built to find and destroy submarines. For its missions it used, among other things, a search radar and further sensors. Thanks to its endurance and rugged structure it served for decades with a number of navies.
Wash the parts to remove mold release residue, separate them from the casting blocks carefully and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand with respiratory protection. Check the correct placement of the radar equipment on the model before gluing.
This is an add-on set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
