This photo-etched set printed in color from the Czech manufacturer Eduard contains pilot seat belts in the style of Italian aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is not a model and not a kit: these are finished, pre-painted metal belts with buckles, which bring the cockpit of a model to life at once. The parts are usually self-adhesive, so painting falls away.
Realistically rendered harness belts are among the most conspicuous details of an open cockpit. Regia Aeronautica belts have a characteristic pattern and coloring, which this set imitates faithfully. They suit Italian fighters and bombers of the Second World War period.
Shape the belts gently to the seat so that they look naturally slack. With the self-adhesive version, peel off the backing and place the parts carefully with tweezers; otherwise glue them with a tiny drop of cyanoacrylate glue. The color print is not oversprayed.
The accessory is supplied as a set of photo-etched parts. The base model and glue are not included in the package.
