Over-wing pylons for the SEPECAT Jaguar GR.1/GR.1a are a resin accessory from the Quickboost brand in 1:48 scale, supplied without adapters.

A small resin set which replaces the pylons mounted on the upper surface of the wing. This form contains the pylons themselves; the brand has released a version completed with adapters alongside it, so it is worth knowing which of them you need.
The Jaguar belongs to the handful of combat aircraft that carried pylons up above the wing. The reason was prosaic: the lower surface was taken up by bombs and drop tanks, and when the machine needed short-range missiles for its own defense on top of that, there was nothing to do but place them above the wing. The result is a silhouette you will not confuse with anything else, and for the modeler a feature on which the standard of the work shows at once.
The SEPECAT Jaguar came about as a joint British and French program and served in the Royal Air Force from the 1970s as a strike and reconnaissance machine. The GR.1a version differed from the original GR.1 in its upgraded navigation and attack equipment. The aircraft proved itself at low altitudes and saw combat among other places in the Persian Gulf.
The set serves as an accessory to a model under construction, and neither the kit nor paints are in it.
