Small accessory parts for models of vehicles in 1:48 scale, offered as variant ver. B. The range offers four variants marked ver. A to ver. D, and the same variants are available in 1:72 scale as well, so you can pick the one that matches your subject. Exactly how the individual variants differ from each other and where on a model the parts belong is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
A kit stops at a simplified shape everywhere a fine part would not come out in injection molding. That is precisely the job for separate accessories: they give the surface the intricacy that plastic in 1:48 scale cannot carry, and the model stops looking smooth and empty. It pays to fit them before the model is finished, so that the corners can be reached comfortably and the surface can be unified with a single painting session.
Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and carefully sand the remainder. Choose a suitable glue according to the material of the parts. Before painting, wash and degrease the parts, because paint does not hold on a greasy surface. Work with tweezers over a mat from which a small part can be picked up again, and try the position dry before you reach for the glue. You match the parts to the model in color by spraying them with the base paint, laying a dark wash into the hollows and bringing out the edges with a lighter shade.
Paints, glue and thinner are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
