The set 1:48 SIAI-Marchetti SF-260M/AM/W INSIDE/OUTSIDE MASK from the Special Mask brand deals with the glazing of the Italian trainer from both sides.

The name of the set suggests two things: it is meant for a model of the Italian machine in the M, AM and W versions, and it masks the glazing from the inner and the outer side alike. The goods serve as an aid during painting; a model of the aircraft is not included.
The SF-260 grew out of a design by the engineer Stelio Frati and was built by the firm SIAI-Marchetti. It is an all-metal low-wing aircraft with a piston engine, wingtip tanks and unusually brisk flying qualities, thanks to which it became a popular military trainer. The M version served for training, while the W form carried armament on pylons for light combat tasks. The type flew, and still flies today, in the colors of a number of countries.
The roomy canopy of the cabin is characteristic of the SF-260 and takes up a large area on a model, so every inaccuracy shows. First cover the inner sides, then seat the part and turn to the outside. Trainers tend to come in colorful and glossy schemes, where the edge of a frame is noticed at once, so it pays to apply the paint in two passes and to keep a longer pause between the coats. The wingtip tanks deserve the same care as the cabin, because they tend to be in a conspicuous color.
