Spitfire F Mk.22/24 exhaust (1:48, Quickboost) is a resin set of exhausts for models of the postwar Supermarine Spitfire F Mk.22 and Mk.24 fighters. This is a detail accessory, not a stand-alone model.

A resin set of precisely cast exhaust manifolds for models of the British Supermarine Spitfire in the F Mk.22 and Mk.24 versions, 1:48 scale. These late versions were powered by a Rolls-Royce Griffon engine with exhausts different from those of the older Spitfires with the Merlin engine. The resin castings with hollowed-out mouths replace the parts from the base kit. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory.
The Supermarine Spitfire F Mk.22 and Mk.24 were the last production versions of the legendary British fighter, powered by the potent Rolls-Royce Griffon engine. Against the wartime versions they had a stronger engine, a reworked airframe and different exhausts. They served in the postwar period.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with super glue. The exhausts come into their own once they are painted in a dark metallic and rusty shade. The hollowed-out mouths of the stubs raise the realism even with no further work.
This is an add-on set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
