1:48 Standard Soviet 1980s Camo And Soviet Stars For Mi-24 is a set of painting masks from DN Models for spraying the period Soviet camouflage and red stars onto a model of the Mi-24 attack helicopter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the DN Models brand in 1:48 scale serves to spray the standard Soviet camouflage of the 1980s and red stars onto a model of the Mi-24 attack helicopter. The masks are cut from a thin masking tape that follows the rounded surfaces of the fuselage and the rotor nacelles well and leaves no traces once peeled off. It is not decals or paint but an aid for precise masking.
The Mi-24 is a heavily armored Soviet attack helicopter that can carry a troop complement at the same time. It made its name in its deployment in Afghanistan and serves to this day in many countries in a number of modernized versions.
Spray the camouflage in layers starting from the lighter shades; lay the masks onto dried paint and press the edges down carefully. Apply the masks for the stars onto a dried base coat and spray in thin coats, so that the paint does not bleed. Once it has dried, take the masks off carefully.
Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
