Responsibility details are not available.
A set of painting masks in kabuki tape from the Czech maker Eduard for a model of the Soviet Su-24M Fencer D tactical bomber in 1:48 scale. The self-adhesive masks are machine-cut for the frames of the cockpit glazing and for the wheel discs, so that spraying gives you crisp, clean transitions of color. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for painting; the base kit has to be obtained separately.
The Sukhoi Su-24, given the NATO reporting name Fencer, is a Soviet twin-engined tactical bomber with a variable-geometry wing and a crew of two seated side by side. The Su-24M version brought improved avionics and the ability to use precision weapons. The framed cockpit and the landing gear are the key areas for masking.
Degrease the glazing and transfer the masks with tweezers. Press them carefully against the edges of the frames, so that paint cannot run underneath. Spray the paint in thin coats and remove the masks while the finish still holds well.
This is an accessory for masking while painting, not a model. The kit itself, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
