The Su-27, under the NATO reporting name Flanker, is a Soviet and later Russian twin-engined single-seat fighter for winning air superiority, brought into service in the middle of the nineteen eighties. It stands out for its large, aerodynamically refined fuselage, its great range and its exceptional agility. The seat is the most conspicuous element of an open cockpit; a casting with faithful belts saves the work of photo-etched belts and markedly lifts the impression a cockpit makes.

Usage tips

• Wash the mold release residue off the parts in lukewarm soapy water
• Cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection
• Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate); cement for plastic will not hold on resin
• Bring the belts out with a wash and a dry brush for legible relief
