This is not a kit but an aftermarket detail set. It is made up of 3D-printed, fully colored interior elements on thin carrier decal paper. They complete the two-seat cockpit of a model of the Russian Su-30SM multirole fighter in 1:48 scale with convincing instrument panels, side consoles and cockpit details.
The Sukhoi Su-30SM is a modern two-seat multirole fighter derived from the Su-27 family. It is marked by canard foreplanes, thrust vectoring and high agility. It serves as both an air superiority and a strike aircraft and carries a wide range of guided weapons.
The cut-out part is soaked for about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water and slid off the carrier paper into place. The elements have no adhesive layer of their own; they hold on the gloss varnish (Future, Klear, Tamiya X-22) with which it is a good idea to coat the surface beforehand, and on textured consoles a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a setting solution, as their chemistry attacks the printed resin. The set is a quick replacement for photo-etched parts.
This is an accessory for a model, not a standalone kit. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
