This is not a kit but a colored detail accessory. The parts are printed by 3D technology, colored from the start and printed on decal (waterslide) paper. The set gives the instrument panels, the side consoles, both seats and the belts full color and three-dimensional relief without your having to spray and mask the cockpit at length. It is prepared for a particular plastic Su-24M kit in 1:48 scale.
The Sukhoi Su-24 (NATO code name Fencer) is a Soviet and Russian two-seat tactical bomber with a variable geometry wing. The M version brought upgraded avionics and the ability to refuel in flight. Its cockpit with two crew members sitting side by side, arranged for low-level runs and accurate strikes, is characteristic.
The parts are applied like classic decals: cut them out, dip them in water for a moment and transfer them onto a previously varnished surface. Do not use decal softeners or setting solutions at all, as their chemistry attacks the printed resin and ruins the part. In busy places, for example the belts on the seats, a thin layer of gloss varnish helps as an additional adhesive. Raised detail on the plastic is best sanded down beforehand.
This is a standalone detail accessory, not a kit. The plastic model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
