Eduard 1:72 B-24D Cockpit and Engines detail set is a photo-etched accessory for sharpening the cockpit and the engines of a plastic model of the B-24D Liberator bomber in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit of the aircraft but a set for improving a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech maker Eduard contains photo-etched brass parts aimed at the cockpit and the engine sections of a plastic model of the four-engine B-24D Liberator bomber in 1:72 scale. It is not a standalone kit of the aircraft but an accessory that raises the detail of the flight deck, the instrument panel and the engine areas. On sets of this kind the interior parts are usually printed in color and self-adhesive.
The Consolidated B-24 Liberator was one of the most widespread American heavy bombers of the Second World War. The early B-24D version was marked out by its high-mounted Davis wing and four Pratt & Whitney radial engines. Liberators operated over Europe, the Mediterranean and the Pacific and carried a large bomb load over long distances.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and bend them in a bending tool. Assemble and paint the cockpit and the engine sections before closing the fuselage and the nacelles. Glue the unpainted parts with cyanoacrylate; press the color-printed self-adhesive elements into place.
The set is supplied unassembled. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
