A set of resin replacement air intakes for a model of the Soviet fighter-bomber Sukhoi Su-7 BKL in 1:48 scale. This is not an aircraft model, but a small detail part from Quickboost. The casting replaces the intake from the kit with a more accurate part with a realistic shape and a clean interior duct.
The Su-7 (NATO reporting name Fitter) was a single-engine supersonic fighter-bomber with a Lyulka AL-7F turbojet engine and a characteristic circular nose intake with a center cone. The BKL version was adapted for operation from unpaved airstrips — it received skis on the landing gear, brake parachutes and takeoff rockets. It was produced from 1965 to 1972.
Wash the parts first to remove the mold release agent. Separate them from the casting block with a cutter or a saw and glue them with cyanoacrylate (super glue). Use respiratory protection when sanding.
This is an accessory for improving the accuracy of the kit, not a standalone model. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
