A set from the Brassin line replaces the plastic exhaust stacks with precisely cast resin parts featuring deeper, hollow exhaust outlets. This is the early rounded type of exhaust. The set is designed for Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I models in 1:48 scale.
Hollow, sharply cast exhausts are among the most noticeable details of the engine area and significantly raise realism over solid plastic parts. This is not an aircraft kit, but a detail accessory.
Wash the parts to remove release agent and carefully cut them from the casting blocks. Paint the exhausts with an airbrush in tones of burnt steel, and bring the transitions and exhaust-stain marks to life with pigments and dry-brushing. Glue with small dots of cyanoacrylate (super glue).
The set contains cast parts. Glue, paints, and the kit are not included in the package.
