T-28B Trojan engine (1:48, Quickboost) is a resin set of a radial engine for a model of the North American T-28 Trojan trainer. This is a detail accessory, not a stand-alone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of a precisely cast radial engine for a model of the American North American T-28B Trojan trainer in 1:48 scale. The set replaces the engine from the base kit with a more faithful resin part with fine detail of the cylinders and the plumbing. It is not a model of the airplane but an accessory that raises the realism.
The North American T-28 Trojan was an American piston-engine trainer of the postwar era, used for basic as well as advanced training. The T-28B version for the navy was powered by the potent Wright R-1820 Cyclone radial engine. The aircraft served in a light combat role with a number of countries as well.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with super glue. The engine comes into its own once it is painted and the detail is picked out lightly. The set suits an open engine cowling in particular.
This is an add-on set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
