The T-90A and Tiger GAZ-233014 is a Suyata plastic kit in 1:48 scale. According to the title it is a release with two different vehicles in one package.
Responsibility details are not available.
The kit covers two different vehicles in 1:48 scale: the main battle tank T-90A and the wheeled armored vehicle GAZ-233014, known under the designation Tiger. With ground subjects 1:48 is a less usual scale than 1:35, but it has its advantages: a model takes up considerably less room in a display case and goes well with aircraft and figures of the same scale. The extent of the package, the number of parts and the number of color schemes are given by the instructions in the box.
The T-90A is a main battle tank of Russian design with a 125 mm gun, an autoloader and a welded turret. From the older versions it differs precisely in the type of turret and in changes to the protection. The GAZ-233014 is a wheeled armored vehicle in a 4x4 arrangement, classed in concept among light multipurpose vehicles with an armored cab; it serves to carry a crew and as a carrier of equipment.
With ground subjects it pays to finish the running gear and all the items that are harder to reach later before the hull is closed. The smaller scale forgives less: the joints on the hull and the turret have to be cleaned up carefully, because the shorter areas bring out every unevenness. Lay the base shade on with an airbrush in thin coats and build the transitions with a modulation of lightness, or a model in 1:48 comes across as flat. For weathering use a wash into the recesses and pigments on the lower parts and the running gear. We recommend care with the coarseness of the effects, because in a smaller scale they come across as overdone sooner than in 1:35.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
