Resin detail cockpit set for the Focke-Wulf Ta 152H-1 (1:48): a resin replacement cockpit for the German high-altitude fighter, for experienced modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set intended to refine the cockpit of a model of the German Focke-Wulf Ta 152H-1 high-altitude fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory that replaces the simplified cockpit from a plastic kit with a faithfully cast cockpit tub, instrument panel, side consoles and seat. Aires cockpit sets usually also include fine photo-etch and an instrument film. Once painted, it creates a realistic pilot's space under an open canopy.
The Focke-Wulf Ta 152H was a German high-altitude fighter from the very end of the Second World War, derived from the Fw 190 line. Its hallmark is the strikingly long wing of great span, which together with the Junkers Jumo 213 engine and supercharging gave it excellent performance at high altitude. Only a few machines were built, so the Ta 152 is among the prized and attractive subjects.
First wash the parts to remove mold release residue and only then glue and paint them. Cut off the casting blocks carefully with a saw and sand the cut surfaces. Bond the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate): ordinary cement for plastic does not hold on resin. Before gluing it in, the kit usually needs a little reworking, so the set is rather for the more experienced. Sand wet and protect your airways.
This is a resin accessory, not a model or a stand-alone kit. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
