Turnbuckles for First World War biplanes in 1:48 scale from the Czech brand Quickboost give the bracing of a model faithful details of the tensioning elements.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains small resin turnbuckles that imitate the tensioning elements of the wire bracing (rigging) between the wings and struts of First World War biplanes. The castings from the Czech brand Quickboost refine otherwise bare bracing wires and give a model a faithful, well worked appearance.
The rigging of biplanes was held under tension by turnbuckles, which are clearly visible on the real aircraft. These resin parts stand in for them in scale and break up the uniformity of the stretched wires.
Cut the parts carefully from the casting blocks and wash off the mold release residue. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) onto taut bracing; elastic rigging thread or drawn sprue works well for that. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
This is a resin accessory, not a standalone model. Intended for First World War biplane models in 1:48 scale.
