Tiger I early series 1:48 is a photo-etched detail set from the Hauler brand cut for a particular kit, the Skybow one; it is not a model but an accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
An aftermarket accessory in photo-etched sheet, not a kit. The set concerns the early production version of the heavy tank Tiger I and is cut for a particular kit, the Skybow one. It is made by the Czech firm Hauler. The particular areas the set covers are given in the enclosed instructions.
The early machines had a cylindrical commander's cupola with vision slits, rubber-tired road wheels, fenders of a different shape and, in part of the production, also an additional set of air filters placed on the rear. Most of these elements are of thin sheet on the real machine, so on a model they are dealt with precisely by photo-etched parts.
Photo-etched parts are brought into the build as it goes along, not only at the end. It therefore pays to go through the instructions before gluing the first plastic parts and to note where a plastic detail will have to be sanded away. Make the bends in a bending tool, fix the joints with thin cyanoacrylate and wipe any excess off at once. Degrease the metal before painting and spray over it with a thin primer.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
