This set from the Brassin range by the Czech manufacturer Eduard is not an aircraft model but a detailed resin armament accessory. It contains two American aircraft bombs of the 250 pound weight class with a well-defined body, fins and fuzes. It usually also comes with decal markings. The set does not contain an aircraft kit.
American high-explosive bombs of the 250 pound weight class were part of the usual external stores of a whole range of aircraft. They round out the typical bomb load of fighter-bombers and bombers and are useful for building a realistic external stores configuration.
Wash the resin parts to remove the mold release agent, cut them from the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand with respiratory protection. The bombs come into their own once an even base coat has been applied, the markings placed accurately and the panels brought out gently with a wash.
This is an accessory resin set, not a stand-alone model. The glue, the paints and the aircraft kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
