The de Havilland Vampire was one of the first British jet fighters, recognizable by its pair of tail booms and short fuselage. The F.3 version brought, among other things, greater range. Cast wheels offer a faithful tread pattern and detail on the hub, and the mask makes a clean separation of the tire color from the rim easier.
Wash the wheels clean of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Use the mask for an accurate separation of the tire and rim colors. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
