1:48 Westland Lysander Collection is an Xtradecal decal set with markings for the British Westland Lysander liaison and army co-operation aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale brings a collection of markings for the British Westland Lysander high-wing monoplane. It contains schemes both for classic army co-operation work and for clandestine night special duties operations. The decals are meant for a matching plastic model; the model itself is not included in the package.
The Westland Lysander was a British multirole high-wing monoplane famous for its extraordinarily short takeoff and landing. In the Second World War it served for observation and army co-operation, for picking up downed airmen and for clandestine night flights, on which it delivered and collected agents from unlit fields in France. Its unmistakable silhouette with fixed landing gear and a suspended cabin makes it an attractive modeling subject.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss varnish so that the film does not silver. Settle the roundels, codes and stripes with a decal softener. On dark night schemes take care over the exact placement of the low-visibility markings and even the finished surface out with matte varnish.
The set contains decals only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
