An injection-molded plastic kit from Kovozavody Prostejov (KP) in 1:72 scale. A short-run model of the Swiss Pilatus PC-7 turboprop trainer in a modern form. A decal sheet is included in the package. The model suits more advanced modelers with experience of more careful fitting of parts.
The Pilatus PC-7 is a Swiss single-engine turboprop trainer. The crew sits in tandem one behind the other and the power comes from a Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A series turboprop engine. This low-wing aircraft with good flying qualities proved itself as a basic as well as an advanced trainer and spread to a number of countries, where it serves for training military pilots. Thanks to its reliability and low operating demands it is among the turboprop trainers that have stayed popular in the long term.
With short-run kits, clean the molding edges off and dry-fit the parts before gluing. Glue the plastic with a thinner model cement. Apply a primer before painting and an airbrush is ideal; the striking training schemes with their bold areas of color reward careful masking of the color boundaries and subsequent gentle accenting of the detail.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
