The set from the maker Quinta Studio contains colored 3D decals of the cockpit interior for models of the British liaison and observation aircraft Westland Lysander Mk.I in 1:48 scale. The items are printed on carrier decal paper, they have real three-dimensional relief and accurate coloring including the dials of the instruments and the lettering.
The part is cut out of the sheet, soaked in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slid off the carrier paper into place. The items have no adhesive layer of their own; they hold on gloss varnish (Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22), and on broken-up surfaces a drop of super glue helps; on a matte base an item will not hold.
Do not use a decal softener or a setting solution; their chemistry damages printed resin. The cockpit thereby gains the depth of the instrument panel, the side walls and the seats; the enclosed resin 3D printed parts are glued with super glue.
