A New Ware masking set at the highest EXPERT level for a model of the Soviet Yakovlev Yak-28P interceptor, NATO reporting name Firebar, in 1:48 scale. The masks are cut from kabuki (washi) tape, they follow the glazing frames exactly and lift off with no adhesive residue. The EXPERT level offers the most complete coverage, including the inner glazing masks, the wheels and the small details.
The Yak-28P is a two-seat supersonic interceptor built to destroy air targets in any weather. Its hallmarks were the drawn-out radome in the nose, the underwing engine nacelles and a crew of pilot and weapon systems officer seated in tandem.
The inner masks let you paint the frames of the long canopy from the inner side as well, which raises the realism. Lay the mask on degreased glazing, mask the lower parts and apply the paint in thin coats. Mask the small features according to the breakdown supplied.
These are self-adhesive painting masks, not a model. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
