Clear Doped Linen - variant 1 (WWI) is a lacquer modeling shade from the manufacturer Mr.Paint imitating the doped linen of aircraft of the First World War. It is supplied ready for spraying with an airbrush.
Responsibility details are not available.
A creamy linen shade from the lacquer range of Mr.Paint that reproduces so-called doped linen, the natural linen covering of aircraft of the First World War impregnated with clear lacquer (dope). That gave the fabric its characteristic warm, translucently creamy to light ocher tone, which differed from machine to machine. This is one of the variants of the shade; in saturation and warmth it differs slightly from the second variant, so a modeler can choose the tone closer to their real subject. The paint is a solvent-based lacquer supplied ready for spraying, with a fine pigment and fast drying to a smooth, finely satin surface.
For modelers of aircraft of the First World War who work with an airbrush and lacquer paints and want a faithful shade of doped linen. Mr.Paint lacquers are not primarily intended for painting with a brush.
A lacquer-based paint: flammable. Spray in a well ventilated space and with respiratory protection (a respirator), out of the reach of children and away from an open flame.
